Dr. J. Dave Kivett, Pastor - Dr. Dave Kivett celebrated his twentieth anniversary of ordination to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament in August of 2007. After graduating from Terry College of Business-University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a major in Economics, Dave immediately went to Union Theological Seminary in Richmond , Virginia where he received his Doctor of Ministry in 1987. Dave’s first call was to The Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, Kentucky where he served as the Associate Pastor for seven years. While in Bowling Green , he was instrumental in the formation of a local chapter for Habitat for Humanity and in working with the Bowling Green Human Rights Commission to foster racial reconciliation and understanding. In 1993, Dave was called to serve as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Reidsville , North Carolina , where he served for nine years. In Reidsville, Dave was a driving force behind starting the Reidsville Outreach Center (ROC), a cooperative Christian ministry to help people in need.  He was called to St. Andrews as Senior Pastor in April of 2002. After coming to St. Andrews , Dave began conversations with other ministers and churches and initiated NETworks, a cooperative Christian ministry with persons in need in the Northlake-Embry Hills-Tucker area. Networks is a group of churches, groups, businesses and individuals committed to assist in meeting urgent needs related especially to housing and utilities. He is actively involved with the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta through the Committee on Ministry, working with churches in transition and churches with conflict. He encourages regular ongoing Bible study and teaches the Grand Sweep, a walk through the Bible in one year from Genesis to Revelation. Dave continues to be active in the local community and serving the larger church working with others through a variety of ministries. He likes to say "when God's people work together good things happen..." And they do! Dave and his wife, Beth, have four children: three are in college, Durham , the oldest, the twins, Sophie Ann and Jerry, and their youngest child, Grace, is in middle school. Morgan Morse Hay, Associate Pastor - Morgan Morse Hay serves St. Andrews Presbyterian Church as Associate Pastor for Youth. Morgan is a graduate of Presbyterian College and Columbia Theological Seminary. Before attending seminary, Morgan served Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama as the Director of Christian Education. Morgan is actively involved with the Montreat Middle School Conference and is a member of the Presbyterian Youth Workers Association. Morgan is married to Robert Hay, Jr. They have one son, Stockton, who was born in 2009, a daughter, Anderson, who was born in 2011, and a golden retriever, Miller. Morgan loves to spend time with her family, have people over and entertain, to spend time in the kitchen, and to read. Morgan can be contacted at mhay@standrewspresbyterian.org.

Carol Marie Underwood, Seminary Intern - Carol Marie Underwood comes from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia where she is working on her Masters in Divinity. She attended Georgia State University for Music Composition. She loves to teach and write music for all ages. She has taught the Bethlehem Choir (grades K-2) at Central Presbyterian Church, and was on the faculty at New Atlanta Conservatory for three years. She loves to write music as an expression of love to God, and has them performed in the USA, Greece, and South Korea. She has been happily married of five years to her husband Will, and they have two cats: Valentine and Tobias. They enjoy doing improv theatre and playing board games with family and friends. David Lukens, Music Director - David Lukens is a product of the area, having been raised in Lilburn and graduated from Parkview HS. His music experience started at age 4 in the Tucker First United Methodist Church (TFUMC) music program. He has sung or rung in all 19 choirs at TFUMC (except the women’s ensemble). In May 2010 David became the 5th generation of his mother’s family to graduate from Auburn University . He earned a Bachelor of Music Education with minors in Organ Performance and History. During college he served as Co-President and Treasurer of the Auburn University Chamber Choir. Since graduating from college, David has been working with numerous youth choirs in the area including Gwinnett Young Singers, Georgia Young Men’s Ensemble, and the youth choirs at TFUMC. Steve Honeychurch, Organist - Steve Honeychurch grew up in North Carolina. After three years in the U. S. Army Band program as an oboist, he received a B.M. degree in organ and oboe from Louisiana State University. He has served as organist of numerous churches since the age of fourteen and has been the organist of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church since 1989. Steve studied organ in 2003 with Jean Ferrard while living for a year with his family in Brussels, Belgium. Steve holds the Colleague certification of the American Guild of Organists (CAGO). He is also a CPA and currently serves as the Controller of Haggai Institute, an international Christian training organization. Steve resides with his wife and family in Doraville. Susan Rasor, Business Administrator - Susan Rasor has been with St. Andrews since 2002. A good United Methodist, she received a B.A. in Education from Millsaps College (a UMC school in Jackson, MS) and after a number of years teaching junior high school received a Master's in Education from Emory University. An acquaintance recruited her to Arthur Andersen LLP where she worked for 17 years in recruiting, administration and human resources. Susan has been active in the church all her life. Susan has an adult son, Josh, and resides in Decatur with her husband Steve and their darling dogs, Lily and Ellie. Susan can be contacted at srasor@standrewspresbyterian.org.

Rebecca Croke, Administrative Assistant - Rebecca Croke is very excited to be working at St. Andrews Presbyterian. She is a native of Stone Mountain and a graduate of George Walton Academy. She attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida where she studied graphic and fine arts. Rebecca worked for eight years with the ACS Technologies Georgia Sales Office and spent two years working for the ART Station, a local Theatre and Art Gallery. She is a member of Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church. Rebecca resides in Lilburn with her husband, Kevin, and their Yorkshire Terrier, Tito. Cindy Johnson, Director St. Andrews School - Cindy Johnson is happy to be back at St. Andrews School in her new role as Director of the Preschool, Extended Day and After School programs. For twelve years, starting in 1996, she taught children in the 2's and 4's classes at St. Andrews School. In 2008, she left to direct a preschool in the Morningside area. Cindy graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is also a certified Montessori teacher. This is her 23rd year working in her chosen profession and she has loved every minute of it. She grew up in Pennsylvania and relocated to Georgia when she married in 1985. Cindy and her husband, Fred, live in the Tucker area with their two children, Eric and Emily, and their two dogs. Both children are currently attending college. She and her family are parishioners of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she has been a Sunday School teacher and a Stephen Minister.
