Congregational Meeting- A Congregational Meeting has been called for May 19, immediately following the 10 am Worship Service. The meeting will be to elect the slate for the Nominating Committee and consider changes to the Terms of Call for Rev. Morgan Hay.

Worship Explorers-We are looking for volunteers, especially during summer, to lead Worship Explorers. See Heather Newman or Morgan Hay to volunteer.

St. Andrews will staff the N.E.T. Food Pantry for the month of May.   Pantry hours are 10:30 am - 2:00 pm. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Volunteers are needed to greet clients and bag food orders.  If you would like to help, please call Klara Smith   770-934-1288. The Pantry is located in Room #15 of the Tucker Recreation Center, right next door to St. Andrews.

The N.E.T. Food Pantry needs Oatmeal, Grits, and Powdered Milk.   Please leave these items in the box marked N.E.T. Food Pantry in the Narthex. Thank you.

39ers– will meet on Monday, May 6th in Heffner Hall at 11:30 a.m.

The time is now! The summer order of coffee, tea (and limited chocolates) from the Presbyterian Coffee Project will be placed May 6. Please complete forms (in the narthex) and return to the office (offering plate will do it!). Alternately, contact Mary Evans, 770-493-9489, tmevans@bellsouth.net.

Golf Tournament– The SAPC Annual Golf Outing at Gwinnett Country Club will be May 10th. The annual golf classic is sponsoring golf hats for sale. They feature the St. Andrews logo and are $20 with $10 going to the youth mission.

Special Mother’s Day Offering– On Sunday, May 12, our congregation will join with more than 200 Presbyterian churches in Georgia in support of the Caring Hands Fund for Presbyterian Homes if Georgia. Our gifts help to provide exceptional care and services for more than 400 elderly residents who have outlived their financial resources. In 60 years of ministry, Presbyterian Homes has never asked a resident to leave due to their depleted funds. Last year, the Caring Hands Fund provided more than $4 million in benevolent care at its four communities. Remember to bring your Mother’s Day Offering and please give generously.

The Summer Worship Schedule– We will begin our Summer Worship Schedule on May 19th with one service at 10:00 a.m. We will not have Children's Sunday School but Worship Explorers will continue through the summer for all children through Fifth Grade. Grand Sweep will be at 9:00 a.m. and Worship at 10:00 a.m.

We are now sending out electronic versions of contribution statements and the lamplighter. Please provide the church office with your email address if you have not done so.
